The card has him wearing an Expos jersey, despite having spent the previous season with the Angels. And the patch....doesn't seem to be from an Expos OR an Angels jersey. And it's a 1/1.

WTF Guest star card. Tim Raines (Lance Parrish)
That has got to be the weirdest slide I've ever seen. Tim looks like a fish flopping around out of the water. I'm guessing the reason for the weird slide is because Tim decided that continuing to live a normal life somewhat free of pain was better than running into Lance Parrish.

WTF card. Ron Hassey & Danny Heep. Play at the plate.
I just can't wrap my head around this one at all. It's like they're looking to the umpire for instructions or something. Weird.
It appears that Heep was out on this play, as it corresponds to the May 5 1990 game in Oakland. Heep was thrown out at the plate while trying to score from 1st on a Carlos Quintana double. Heep had tripled and scored earlier in the game, and the Sox won 5-1.
Ron Hassey's main claim to fame is being the only man to catch 2 perfect games. He caught Len Barker's and Dennis Martinez's.
Danny Heep ended his career in 1991 with Atlanta. They obtained him from the White Sox in May, he hit .417 in 12 AB's with 4 runs and 3 RBI, and they released him in June. He had gone 0-4 in June.

WTF card. Joe Charboneau
I think this card shows why he was a flash in the pan.
How he didn't break his arms swinging is beyond me.

WTF card. Mickey Micelotta.
Firstly, a rug measurer? Is that a highly trained profession? And WTF? He wore glasses even though he didn't need them? Well, his major league career 0-7 doesn't seem to suggest it helped. .243 career in the minors doesn't exactly prove his point. How'd that measuring rugs thing work out?

WTF cards. Cito Gaston & Tommy Harper.
So, both these guys "virtually rewrote their team's record books" in 1970. And in fact, they both had spectacular seasons. Cito never got near to that level again, and while Tommy had some other good seasons, 1970 was also his best.
So where's the WTF?
Well, rewriting a team's record book isn't really that big of a deal when in both cases, the team was only in its second season! Silly rabbits.

WTF card. Mike Mussina.
So what then. Mussina's a hot pitcher, so we'll cool him down? Mussina is as cold as ice? Basic Instinct came out and we like ice picks? The levels of WTF in this card are so high it's ridiculous.

Random card. Bob Gibson 1968 World Series Highlight. WTF.
What a performance. 17 K's in a World Series Game. You just know that Topps is going to list the box score including all the K's, right?
Ummm Topps? Hello? PO? A? E? No K's? SHEESH!
Thankfully there are sites for that kind of stuff now.
