Archi Cianfrocco

I distinctly remember Archi Cianfrocco's first hit as an Expo. Why you ask? Well, it was the first and still only 3 run SINGLE I've ever seen.

April 11 1992, Shea Stadium, 8th inning. Pinch hitting for Dennis Martinez with 2 outs, Grissom on 3rd, Carter on 2nd, and Owen on 1st. With the runners going on the 3-2 pitch, Archi lined one between SS and 2B. Spike had rounded 2nd before the ball got out of the infield, and all 3 runners scored easily.

A true bubblegum card.
