A pet peeve about watching baseball.

I hate it when a pitcher works a guy perfectly, sets him up, strikes him out on something he's completely not expecting that's down and away, or high and tight, and the fucken announcer says "oh, he swung at a terrible pitch!".

No he didn't you fucken moron, he swung at a perfect pitch. The pitcher outsmarted him.

Naturally, most announcers this stupid are former hitters. Bad ones at that.

  1. That's why I'm happy with the regular White Sox announcers on television and radio. Each team has a hitter and a pitcher, so every angle is eventually covered by someone on each broadcasting team.
