Don't get me wrong, I love the site for all the stats. But man, the BR Blog is run and populated by some real close minded people. The posts are generally inane (especially the ones by this Andy creep), and the commentators are exactly the type of people that make the casual fan roll their eyes at the mention of stats.
There are a lot of good and useful ways to use stats to help understand the game, and the players that played it. The BR blog isn't it, unless you like reading idiotic theories that Tommy Lasorda someone knew Kirk Gibson was going to hit that famous home run because some other Dodger did a similar thing in 1968.
