Fleer 1994 Pro Visions inserts.

When 1994 Fleer came out, it took the insert craze to new levels. One insert in every pack. Inserts were no big deal anymore, and some of Fleers were pretty boring.

They hit the mark with this little set though. I don't think there's ever been anything like these, and they are magical and wonderful.

The only thing that didn't make sense was why Jack McDowell was holding the ball in his left hand. Well, that and why the ball apparently stunk like garbage. Shoot, since all of these guys are still around, maybe I should make it a goal to get all these cards autographed.

  1. Had to look at those cards closer. Then I noticed they actually bleed into the next card. And you wouldn't notice it unless they were all together like that, like why Juan Gone had a yellow road in the corner of his card, or Piazza having a little bit of rainbow, wizard coat and garbage stink. Cool stuff.

  2. Yeah, it was definitely a set that took a 2nd look to figure out.

I loved Matt Williams giant glove, but I'm not too sure about Darren Daulton in a chunk of cheese though. Or is it cement overshoes? Either way, strange.
