Swing sequences. Moises Alou.

                                                       Bonus card!

I was a big fan of Moises, especially during his time with the Expos. I was watching the game on TV in 1993 when he broke his leg, and that was about the sickest thing I'd ever seen. I really didn't expect him to come back, but he did.

He was not a lucky man with injuries.  He missed all of 1991, the leg in 93, shoulder problems in 1995, the treadmill accident that cost him his entire 1999 season, and then he tore his hammy in 2008 while rehabbing from hernia surgery. Considering how much time he missed, he put up a pretty amazing career.

I still think he should have been the World Series MVP in 1997. He hit .321 with 3 home runs and 9 RBI and 6 runs scored.

Livan Hernandez got the MVP by going 2-0, yet he had a 5.27 ERA, gave up 15 hits in 13 2/3 innings, walked 10 and struck out only 7. MVP? His freaking WHIP was 1.829. Moises got robbed.
