Great Canadians. Terry Puhl.

The pride of Melville, Saskatchewan, Terry spent 14 seasons as an Astro, and one final season in KC with the Royals. He was signed and released in between by the Mets.

Probably best remembered as an excellent defensive outfielder, Terry was a useful if not powerful hitter with a career OPS+ of 112. His career numbers were greatly affected by playing in the Astrodome.

Terry never lead the league in a single offensive category, and made only one all star team. He walked about as much as he struck out, and had some speed, although his SB% wasn't good enough to justify trying to steal.

I recall that during any Astros game I ever saw with him playing, a point was always made to state that he was from Canada.
